Gold Crest Distributing is a multifaceted company that operates under multiple different brands, which sell B2B as well as B2C. Though, the majority of the company's efforts are focussed B2B. Part of my job is to create tools, such as catalogs, to help the representatives sell product to retailers. Each brand has its own catalog, and some have smaller, more targeted catalogs. As an example, you can see the last catalog in the image above is Gift Essentials Everyday catalog. Under the same brand we have the Holiday catalog, which focusses on the holiday items the brand offers and the Lake & Lodge catalog, which is geared more towards retailers whose product line matches life on the lake. I created all catalog covers shown above by capturing images of the product in lifestyle settings and laying out the necessary information in a visually appealing way while adhering to brand standards. In some instances, capturing one image to make up the cover was not possible, so I captured multiple images and composited them together, as with the cover of Lake & Lodge. Alternatively, as with this version of Everyday, a suitable background for our products was not available, so I composited images of our products onto a purchased background image. Catalogs

As a company, Gold Crest also strives to offer tools that help the retailer sell our product, such as their line of Tips Brochures. They offer brochures on attracting the most popular types of backyard birds, butterflies and similar, helpful topics such as Tips for Attracting Nesting Birds, Tips for Deterring Squirrels, Tips to Help Birds Survive Winter, and more. Discussed within is helpful information that birders need to know on these topics as well as images of our products that meet those needs.
